Clinical Social Work / Therapist, MA, LCSW, LCAS

Do you ever lay awake at night thinking about things you want to change, thinking about how you want to be happier, thinking that you wish someone understood what you were going through? I am here to help guide you through the process to begin working towards your desired change. I sincerely believe in treating the whole person and understand that many of us have experienced previous trauma, negative experiences, and excessive worries that effect our ability to be what and who we want to be in many different areas of our lives.

As a clinician my purpose is to provide a safe, secure and trusting space for the people I treat to aid in addressing issues of depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug addiction/recovery, self-esteem issues, childhood/adolescent defiance, family conflict, past and present traumas.

My goal is not to push people towards change but to collaborate with them and strengthen motivation to change in a therapeutic and helping setting. Achieving change is hard and you have already taken the first step. I look forward to working with you, your child or loved one and you should be proud of the steps you have begun to take towards change!

There are times we all struggle with sadness, anxiety and self-doubt, when the smallest task seems so overwhelming that you can't figure out where to start. Times when the decisions we have to make are so paralyzing that we stay right where we are, and times when what we have faced in our past brings so many painful memories. Times of grief and loss and big life decisions that make us so uncertain what to do next. We all experience these. You are not alone. During these times it can help to have someone to talk to. Whatever you are experiencing, I am here to help you on this journey.

Expert Grief and Meditation Coach

How you tend to, and THAT you tend to your grief is everything.

Grief sucks. No need to sugar coat it. The hurt. The ache. The sleeplessness. The fatigue. The brain fog. The loneliness. The sadness. The anger. The despair. The numbness. The pain. (And so on.) Not to mention, the unmet expectations. While grief looks different for everyone, it's never easy. And it doesn't go away by just ignoring it or wishing for better feelings. We have to feel it to heal it. And ... you are not alone.

I am a life coach, grief recovery specialist, mindfulness and meditation teacher, and a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practitioner. I work with individuals and small groups using mindfulness and meditation techniques to cope with grief, reduce stress, and cultivate personal growth. With a compassionate and nurturing presence, I offer grief and meditation coaching as a way for people to heal, to create space in their hearts so that they can start feeling the good things in life again.

Nurture your grief from the inside out.

Counselor, M.Ed, LCMHCA, LPCA

As individuals with lives in constant flux, it can seem strange and feel scary to ask for assistance from others. Oftentimes we resist that urge despite all signs pointing towards it. Despite that fear, when we take the step and seek assistance in life, we open ourselves up to wonderful possibilities and opportunities for growth and change. As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I find personal growth can flow both ways during therapy. It is a therapeutic alliance that allows us as mental health clinicians and clients to learn more about others and our respective worlds that empowers us to push past barriers we once thought impossible to breach.

I graduated from University of Missouri - St. Louis with my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018. During my educational and work experience, I have worked with residential youth, intensive in home services for families, and individuals focusing on anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, ADHD, and Autism.  I have widely utilized motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and am Trauma, Nerd Therapy, and PDA informed. I have enjoyed working with youth, teenagers, adults, couples and families by forming therapeutic alliances with my individual and family clients to guide them through life’s challenges. I am a firm believer that change comes from within. As a Counselor, I am merely a guide to assist and celebrate those changes with the clients I work with.

You’ve spent years holding everything together—family, work, others' needs—but somewhere along the way, you lost touch with yourself. You might be noticing patterns that no longer serve you, feeling weighed down by anxiety or burnout, or struggling with focus and self-doubt. Whether you're navigating a new ADHD diagnosis, adjusting to life as a parent, or simply feeling tired of feeling the way you do, you're not alone—and change is possible.

I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can reconnect with yourself. I use a combination of EMDR, Brainspotting and IFS in helping clients heal past wounds, shift stuck patterns, and build self-trust. I specialize in supporting women and LGBTQ+ individuals navigating identity, motherhood, trauma, or life transitions.

I believe therapy is a place to come home to yourself. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start—just a willingness to show up. If you're ready to reconnect with who you are and how you want to feel, I’d be honored to support you on that path.

Counseling should be a safe and judgment-free place for individuals to voice their concerns.  In a world where we are constantly judged, I feel that counseling provides a unique place to allow for personal understanding and growth while reflecting on what drives our concerns, emotions, and behaviors. The counseling journey should be a joint partnership to help the client realize their own potential for growth. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions that are centered around each individual.

I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Service Members, the LGBTQ+ community, survivors of domestic violence, and those connected to adoption and foster care, such as foster parents, adoptive parents, and birth parents. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in developing coping strategies and emotional resilience. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel heard, validated, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, LCSWA. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work from Grand Canyon University and my Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University.

What would it feel like to shed the armor of "I'm fine" and breathe for real underneath? You’re the thoughtful over‑thinker who looks “fine” on the outside but feels one crisis away from unraveling. Maybe you’re coming out, changing jobs, or juggling parenthood—whatever the transition, that inner voice keeps whispering “not good enough.” My ideal client wants real talk and humor plus evidence‑based tools. You’re ready to understand the “why” behind old patterns, practice new skills between sessions, and finally trade restless energy for forward momentum—on your terms.

I blend CBT, mindfulness, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy with a strengths‑based, person‑centered lens, so sessions feel equal parts practical skill‑building and compassionate space‑holding. Translation: we’ll get curious about the stories you tell yourself, practice tools to calm spiraling thoughts, and map out next steps that align with your values.

Clients say my style is “honest, humorous, and deeply affirming.” Whether you’re navigating gender identity, grieving a breakup, or juggling career and family expectations, therapy with me is collaborative—no jargon, no judgment, just real talk and evidence‑based strategies you can use between sessions.

We are living in a fast-paced and ever changing world. Change happens to all of us, whether gradually or all at once. Regardless, we find ourselves dealing with changes the best way we know how. Wherever you are in life, I'm here to meet you where you are.

I've worked within mental health for many years in community mental health and non-profit settings. I began working in psycho-social rehabilitation and on towards ACTT programs specializing in severe and persistent mental illness and substance use. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) I specialize in depression/anxiety, adults with ADHD, LGBTQIA+ care and issues, Bipolar disorder, Psychosis related disorders, Chronic issues, stress, and life transitions. I use several therapeutic modalities based on needs including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths Based interventions, Solutions-focused interventions, and existential based modalities. With this, I'm here to work alongside you in whatever capacity is needed. Whether you need someone to talk to, offer education and skills, a guiding hand in the dark, or just someone to be the cheerleader you need on your team, I'll be there.

I believe that people are doing the best they can to manage life with the resources and knowledge that they have. When life gets difficult, it’s common to feel isolated in our feelings or lean on unhealthy coping strategies to try and get by. I am here to help ease that struggle by offering a safe and accepting space to process your emotions and explore new, more effective ways of navigating life. I make sure to meet clients where they are at in their mental health journey, and collaboratively work on identifying and meeting their goals no matter what those may look like.

I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and have experience with a variety of other treatment styles, and enjoy helping teens and adults work through depression, anxiety, PTSD, navigating life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I have extensive experience working in hospital, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings as well, and am always making sure to help others from trauma focused and gender/sexuality affirming lenses. I look forward to helping you on your journey.

Suffering and sadness are sometimes part of human existence. In those times, we may need someone to listen and empathize with us. Even in happy times, we may need someone to help us navigate life transitions.

I have twelve years experience as a school counselor working with adolescents. As a school counselor, my main role was to be an advocate for each child by meeting their individual needs and understanding their unique developmental levels focusing on emotional awareness, emotional intelligence, and college readiness. I utilized both individual and group counseling sessions.

Utilizing my background, I will work with current populations of struggling children, adolescents, and adults using cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and solution focused therapy (SFBT). I believe counseling is a natural, healthy part of life and both of these therapeutic modalities help others understand their role in making positive outcomes in their own life and mental well-being.

I am an empathetic individual who enjoys helping others reach their full potential through problem solving and goal setting. Cognitive behavior therapy can help replace negative thinking patterns and re-establish them with positive thoughts. Techniques used include cognitive restructuring, journaling, and mindfulness. Solution focused therapy sessions use goal setting and focus on strengths to create more desirable outcomes and find solutions for problems.

I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in South Carolina. Therefore, I currently offer services to South Carolina clients via telehealth self-pay. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you towards fulfilling your goals and finding inner-peace and healing.
